Shelmar MooreDubbed "Refusing to Exhale" by director Gary Hardwick , THE BROTHERS traces the hilarious journey of four African-American men as they take on love, sex, friendship and two of life's most terrifying prospects -- honesty and commitment. Smart, successful, and sexy, Jackson Smith (Morris Chesnut), Brian Palmer (Bill Bellamy), Derrick West (D.L. Hughley) and Terry White (Shelmar Moore) are "The Brothers" -- lifelong friends banded together to weather love's innate terrors and occasional triumphs in this brazenly comic yet painfully true exploration of the battle between the sexes. Amidst the career track, basketball, and bar hopping, "The Brothers" love women, as many as possible, but a shocking revelation tests the foursome's friendship and changes their dating habits forever. In between the fast-quipping one-liners, each of the four brothers faces a challenge that must be overcome in order to mature into full manhood. The strength of THE BROTHERS rests in the emotional variety of these challenges, which range from Brian's tragic relationship with his mother to Derrick's hysterical sexual problems with his wife. And regardless of the tone of each subplot, Harwick's characters are well rounded, and filled out by the excellent acting of Chesnut , Hughley, and the gorgeous Gabrielle Union in the female lead.

Amanda (Monica Potter) is a nice, regular girl who moves to New York to work as an art restorer, and begins sharing an apartment with four quirky roommates who are all fashion models. She keeps bumping into Jim Winston (Freddie Prinze Jr., Jr.), the seriously cute boy who lives in the apartment building across the street, who weakens her knees and fumbles her words. Having resolved herself to hopelessly peeping through his window, Amanda's sympathetic and seriously fashionable roommates finally dress her and make her up to crash a party he's throwing. Relaxed and feeling beautiful, Amanda finally speaks to Jim, and he at last discovers her charms and asks her out. Returning to her apartment on cloud nine later that evening, she spies him apparently committing a murder, and calls the police. The cops assume Amanda and the girls are just airhead models and dismiss the claim. Even her roomies are unsure, but find themselves swept up in the drama of Amanda's REAR WINDOW-esque investigation. Filled with good-natured pokes at models and the fashion industry, HEAD OVER HEELS is a romantic comedy powered by an energetic 1980s-style soundtrack and directed by Mark S Waters (THE HOUSE OF YES).In the Mood For Love (Subtitled) - VHS

Maggie CheungIN THE MOOD FOR LOVE centers around Chow Mo-Wan (Tony Leung) and Su Li-Zhen (Maggie Cheung), neighbors living in a crowded apartment building in 1962 Hong Kong. Both married to people who are always away, they spend many nights home alone. The two make each other's acquaintance and soon find that they have a lot in common: Both enjoy martial arts, frequent the same noodle stand -- and eventually discover that their spouses are cheating on them. (Mo-Wan's wife is having an affair with Li-Zhen's husband.) Hurt and angry, they find comfort in their growing friendship even as they resolve not to be like their unfaithful mates. Wong Kar-Wai's seventh film reunites him with Leung and Cheung, who provide perfectly evocative performances as the two hesitant would-be lovers. A slight departure from his more recent films (in which he used hyperkinetic camera movements to reflect the frenetic pace of modern Hong Kong life), here Wong uses fixed shots and stages static tableaus to capture a lost historical moment. Yet the film is filled with Wong's unique style, with its lush pageantry of colors, sounds, and images. A thoughtful and provocative exploration of memory, tradition, historical change, inevitability, and love, this vivid period piece offers a rich cinematic experience.

After Louie's father (voiced by SEINFELD's Jason Alexander) steals a trumpet for him, Louie must pay for it to restore his father's honor.
